Today, it became known that sneakers with the abbreviation ACAB, which has been used for many years to express a negative attitude towards the police, appeared in the assortment of the Megatop shoe store. First, propagandists raised a fuss, and now the security forces have reacted.
GUBAZiK (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption) reported that the product has now been removed from sale, and a report has been filed against the legal entity that owns the "Megatop" stores for "dissemination of extremist symbols."
Based on this report, the company will have to pay a fine of up to 500 base units (22,500 rubles). GUBAZiK also threatens them with "appropriate organizational conclusions."
