US President Donald Trump stated on his social network that Britain is considering sending two of its aircraft carriers to the Middle East, and that the United States no longer needs this assistance.

"The United Kingdom, our former Great Ally, perhaps the Greatest of all, is finally seriously contemplating sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East," Trump wrote on his TruthSocial network. "It's alright, Prime Minister Starmer, we don't need them anymore. But we will remember."

"We don't need people who join the war when we have already won," Trump added.

The British government, led by Keir Starmer, had previously made a principled decision not to participate directly in the US and Israeli military campaign against Iran. However, London allowed the Americans to use its airbases. As for the aircraft carriers, one of them is on high alert in case of an emergency.
