Tsikhanouskaya called on Kallas to close loopholes in sanctions against Lukashenka
Yesterday, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with the head of European diplomacy at the headquarters of the European External Action Service in Brussels.

During the meeting, several issues were discussed, reports the press service of the democratic leader of Belarus.
In particular, they discussed the release of political prisoners and contacts with the USA on the humanitarian track; the results of Tsikhanouskaya's recent visit to Ukraine and the development of cooperation with the Ukrainian side; strengthening sanctions against Lukashenka's regime and closing loopholes in the sanctions regime.
They also discussed support for independent media, human rights defenders, civil society, and democratic institutions; maintaining the mobility of Belarusians and issuing Schengen visas; the security situation in the region and countering Russian disinformation.
Tsikhanouskaya handed over a number of analytical documents to Kaja Kallas and spoke about the participation of Belarusian civil society in defending elections in Armenia and Moldova from Russian influence, and the possibility of national dialogue as one of the instruments for a peaceful exit from the crisis.
The democratic leader emphasized that the release of all political prisoners, full amnesty, and an end to repression must become the first steps towards a national dialogue and resolving the crisis in Belarus.
