US-Iran talks planned for Friday canceled

Talks between the United States and Iran, which were supposed to take place on Friday at the Bürgenstock mountain resort in Switzerland, will not happen. Reuters reports this, citing the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
US Vice President J.D. Vance canceled his planned trip to Switzerland to meet with Iranian negotiators.
CNN reports that "unresolved organizational issues related to the next stage of negotiations" were cited as the reason.
