Average Salary Rose to Three Thousand Rubles
Compared to last month, it increased by 50 rubles
The average accrued (i.e., "gross") salary in May in Belarus amounted to 3003.5 rubles, Belstat reports.
In April, it was 2952 rubles, meaning it increased by 50 rubles.
If we take net, the salary in May will be 2583 rubles, and if we take the average dollar exchange rate for May, it will be 1081 dollars "gross" and $929.7 "net".
Due to the fall in the average dollar exchange rate in May (the American currency dropped below 2.8 rubles and even below 2.73), it significantly increased. The average salary for April was 1032 dollars "gross" and 887 "net".
In Minsk, the average "gross" salary is 3891 rubles and 3346 "net".
In dollars, this is 1400 dollars "gross" and 1204 dollars "net".
Due to the fall in the dollar exchange rate in May, it grew quite well: for April, it was $1359 "gross" and $1168.9 "net".
