Aryna Sabalenka continues to hold the top spot, but her lead is now small.

Aryna has 8550 points, Elena Rybakina has 8143. The representative of Kazakhstan trails by 407 points and could soon catch up with the Belarusian if the latter performs poorly. At one point, the gap was almost 1500 points, and a week ago it was 947 points.

Recall that Sabalenka was eliminated in the round of 16 at Wimbledon, while Rybakina exited even earlier.

Third place belongs to American Jessica Pegula (6301), American Coco Gauff is fourth (5649), and Russian Mirra Andreeva is fifth (5293).

Next are Czech Karolina Muchova (5168) and Wimbledon winner Linda Nosková (5119).

However, Polish Iga Świątek could not defend her title at Wimbledon; she lost 2000 points, which are awarded for winning the tournament, and she dropped from third to eighth place, now having 4539 points.

Sabalenka has held the top spot in the world ranking since October 2024, and tomorrow in Minsk, she will open courts at the school where she studied.
