A new shopping center is nearing completion on Nemiga. The hypermarket it will house has been revealed
A multifunctional complex of an intricate shape is being built at Nemiga Street, 44. The developer "Sigmapol" is not particularly forthcoming about what exactly the new facility will delight Minsk residents with. But recently, a banner appeared on the construction fence near the building, hinting at a chain of hypermarkets, writes Onliner.
The site in the very center of Minsk was acquired by the developer in 2018. Construction stretched for many years, but its completion is now in sight. And recently it became known which hypermarket will open within the shopping center's premises. It will be Prostore.
It is planned that Sigma will include a shopping center, a business center, a medical center, and multi-level parking. The total area of the facility is 64,000 sq. m.
The chief architect of the project called the building original, noting that exclusive technologies are used in its construction. For example, the corners of the facade are framed by radial stained-glass windows, or curved glass. In Belarus, they are used for the first time on such a scale.
In addition, the complex's territory was supplemented with unique decorative elements – a large waterfall and an artificial stream that flows along the complex's facade, symbolizing the Nemiga River.

Another feature of the project is a usable roof, where a green zone will be created.
The head of the administration of the Moskovsky district previously reported that the shopping center will open by the end of 2026.
