At what temperature are air conditioners required to be switched on in public transport?
Minsktrans reminded that during the warm season, drivers of ground public transport are obliged to switch on air conditioners when the outdoor temperature reaches +20 °C and above. This rule is valid from May 1 to September 30.

It is noted that in Minsk, air conditioning systems are installed in 669 city buses, 280 trolleybuses, 23 electric buses, and 20 trams.
Thus, at temperatures of +20 °C and above, drivers of transport equipped with air conditioners are obliged to switch on the cabin cooling system for more comfortable travel conditions for passengers.
