Zelenskyy commented on the strike on the lubricant plant in Ufa
"For the second time, our retaliatory sanction measures, in response to Russia prolonging the war, have reached an oil refinery in Ufa — one of Russia's largest producers of lubricants. The distance to the facility is more than 1300 kilometers from the frontline," the President of Ukraine wrote.
"Also in the Penza region, our weapons reached a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is engaged in the development and production of components for missile weaponry that the occupiers use to strike our cities and settlements. The distance to the target is about 600 kilometers from the frontline.
Our plan for applying Ukrainian long-range sanctions is carried out daily. This is a completely fair response to everything Russia is doing against us.
Peace is necessary, and this is what the Russian leadership must realize. Russia must stop its war. And the Russian leadership has all the opportunities to do so.
I thank every Ukrainian warrior who ensures our precision in delivering long-range strikes," Zelenskyy stated.
