Trump: Conversation with Putin was positive

"Regarding Ukraine, it was a positive conversation," noted the US President.

The conversation with Vladimir Putin, which took place on the evening of March 9, was "positive" regarding the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, Donald Trump said, speaking at a press conference in Miami.

"Regarding Ukraine, it was a positive conversation," noted the US President. Overall, Trump described the conversation with his Russian counterpart as "good."

The American leader added that during the conversation, Putin expressed readiness to help resolve the conflict with Iran. At the same time, Trump stressed that it would be more important for Russia to focus not on the Iranian conflict, but on the Ukrainian settlement. He also noted that the President of Russia was impressed by the US military operation against Iran.
