Minsk Resident Fought with a Stranger Over Wife and Lost Sight in One Eye
One night, a Minsk resident couldn't get through to his wife, who had gone to meet acquaintances. When he dialed his wife's number again, a stranger answered him and informed him that she was busy and couldn't talk. This happened several times.
After some time, the stranger himself called him back and told him to come down to the building's entrance. The city resident didn't expect such insolence, but he still went outside, writes Minsk-News.
His wife was sitting on a bench, and next to her was a somewhat drunk man — the very one who had answered the calls. He behaved insolently, insulting and humiliating the man in front of his wife. Unable to tolerate it, the Minsk resident hit him first. A fight then ensued between them — the stranger struck him at least 11 times, after which he left.
In the morning, the Minsk resident's condition worsened, and he was taken to the hospital. Due to the injury sustained in the fight, he lost sight in one eye. A criminal case was opened against the man who beat him. He faces up to eight years [in prison].
