New payment service launched in Belarus

A service has been launched in Belarus that significantly simplifies the payment for services rendered to clients by self-employed individuals. Previously, transfers could be made via ERIP, but now the process has become even simpler and faster thanks to a new function — "My QR", reported the National Bank.

Anton Padrez, Head of the Main Department of Payment System and Digital Technologies at the National Bank, said that to use the service, one needs to visit the ERIP website, select their bank, enter the required identifier (there's a hint), and generate a QR code. This code can be sent to the client via messenger as a link.

According to Anton Padrez, the service will be useful for self-employed individuals, as they no longer need to search for a payment method for their services — the QR code can be prepared in advance and provided to the client.

Further development of the service is also planned to enable internal bank payments to be made through it. Transfers via "My QR" are free, just like all other operations through ERIP.
