Bridge over the railway between Kolesnikova and Timiryazeva in Minsk is being built day and night
The new overpass will connect the Frunzensky and Tsentralny districts. Currently, from Masyukovshchina, Kamennaya Gorka, and Dombrovka to Lebyadziny or to the Zhdanovichi market, one can get by car via the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD) or by making a large loop along the second transport ring, according to Minsk-Novosti.

The structure is being erected from precast monolithic supports and reinforced concrete precast beams. It is planned to arrange 11 spans with 33-meter beams and one more span 18 meters long. A total of 13 supports will be needed.
Before commencing construction, extensive preparatory work was carried out.
— Almost all types of engineering communications are present on this site, so the relocation of electrical networks, water supply, storm sewers, and other facilities continues. In addition, work on the construction of a pile field and overpass supports is being carried out in parallel, — noted Mikhail Berastevich, Deputy Director of the Gardarbud enterprise.
— Today, from Kolesnikova Street, supports are being erected, and racks are being installed on the foundation piles. Work is carried out in stages, as engineering networks are relocated. In May, the installation of the first span structure began. From Timiryazeva Street, supports are also being installed, and the construction of bored pile foundations continues. The plan is to start the installation of span structures in this area by the end of June.

The task is to complete the construction entirely within the shortest possible timeframe. For this, where noisy work is not being carried out, specialists work around the clock using a shift method.
— When we start laying the road surface, we will also switch to round-the-clock operation from Timiryazeva Street, — added the Deputy Director of Gardarbud.
The new overpass will be among the five longest in the city — the length of the completed structure will be about 380 m.
The width will vary from 41.3 to 47.8 m. Expansion is planned from Timiryazeva Street. This decision was made for a reason: it is necessary to organize additional lanes for right- and left-turn exits, as there will be an intersection next to the overpass on this side. Traffic will be six-lane — three lanes in each direction.
Sidewalks are provided on both sides, and one of them will be combined with a bicycle path. To separate the roadway from pedestrian zones, a parapet reinforced concrete barrier will be installed.
Recall that the project is being implemented in two stages. The first includes preparatory work, and the second — the direct construction of the overpass. After the completion of the first stage, the public transport route will change: currently, buses turn into Kolesnikova Lane, but in the future, they will go straight and turn onto Lyutsinskaya Street.
As for the space under the structure, the possibility of organizing parking spaces there is being considered.

The overpass over the railway in the area of Kolesnikova — Timiryazeva streets is part of a large-scale project for the development of the capital's transport infrastructure.
The next stages include:
extension of the street with an overpass over the railway in the area of Churlenisa — Karzhanovskogo streets;
construction of a new street from Tsvirki Street to 1st Koltsova Lane.
In addition, it is planned to:
— build a new section of the street between Malinin and Stanislav Manyushko streets with a bridge over the Svislach River;
— construct a section of the street from Serova Street to Shpilevskogo Street with an overpass over the railway.
