Massive attack on Russia's Krasnodar Krai: an oil depot is burning in Volna village, Sochi experiences 'the longest attack'
Tonight, Russia's Krasnodar Krai came under a massive drone attack. According to local authorities, the attack began late in the evening and lasted until morning.
The most difficult situation developed in Volna village (Temryuk district). There, after impacts or 'falling debris,' a fuel storage tank caught fire. In addition, a warehouse and terminals were damaged. The governor reported two injured.
In Sochi, authorities called this attack 'the longest' in the city's history. Damage to a private house was reported. Meanwhile, a boiler house in Yurauka village was hit.
Local residents reported on social media that explosions were heard throughout the night, and heavy smoke was visible in the area of Taman port (near Volna).
This is not the first time drones have attacked the Russian oil terminal in Volna village, which is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces.
