The results of the Year of Improvement have been summed up — the best region, districts, and settlements have been identified.

According to the government's decree, the Gomel Region has been recognized as the best region in the country.
Among regional centers and the capital, Grodno took first place, confirming its status as one of the most well-maintained cities in Belarus.
In various categories of settlements, Lida and Novopolotsk became leaders (among cities with a population of over 50 thousand people), as well as Ostrovets, Zaslavl, and Pruzhany (in the category of 10 to 50 thousand inhabitants).
Among smaller cities, Chashniki, Cherikov, Byalynichy, and the urban settlement of Oktyabrsky were recognized.
Villages were not left without awards either: the best rural settlements recognized were Domzheritsy of Lepel District, agrotown Oktyabrskaya of Vitebsk District, agrotown Korotki of Korma District, agrotown Sheni of Pruzhany District, and the village of Lyaskovichi of Ivanovo District.
Among the winning districts in each region and Minsk this year were Bereza, Chashniki, Kalinkovichi, Lida, Molodechno, Shklov, and Pervomaysky District of the capital.
Winners will receive various cash prizes from the republican budget for the development of urban infrastructure.
