A dangerous situation occurred in the Pinsk district: a man landed a light aircraft directly onto the ice of the Pagost reservoir, where fishermen were present at that moment. A video of the landing appeared on social media, reports the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

The incident was discovered by employees of the Brest Regional Transport Prosecutor's Office during internet monitoring. The video showed the plane landing on the icy surface of the reservoir, despite people being present there.
An investigation revealed that the owner of the aircraft is a resident of the Pinsk district, and he knowingly violated the rules. The flight took place without the necessary air space usage permit. Moreover, the aircraft had not undergone a technical inspection for about eight years, and the pilot himself did not have a valid airworthiness certificate and the corresponding license.
As a result, the man was brought to administrative responsibility. He was fined 20 base units (which was 900 rubles at that time). Additionally, by order of the prosecutor's office, he was penalized under another article — which provides for a fine of up to 30 base units.
