Scammers created a fake National Bank website

The National Bank of Belarus warned citizens about a fake website found online that mimics the regulator's official resource.

According to the bank's information, a website has appeared in the .by domain zone that, by its address and appearance, is very similar to the real National Bank website. However, the contact details there do not correspond to the actual ones, and clicking on links can be dangerous.

In connection with the growing number of fraudulent schemes using the names of state bodies and organizations, citizens are urged to be especially vigilant.

The National Bank reminded that the true official website is located only at www.nbrb.by.

Residents are also advised to always check the website address in the browser bar and not to open suspicious links.
