The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus found that the Ozon marketplace was selling vehicles labeled as mopeds, although they actually met the characteristics of motorcycles.

As reported by the press service of MART, "mopeds" with a maximum speed of 70 to 100 km/h and an engine volume of 125 cubic centimeters were on sale. At the same time, according to the technical standards of the Customs Union, a moped must have a speed of no more than 50 km/h and an engine volume of up to 50 cubic centimeters. Vehicles exceeding these parameters are classified as motorcycles.
MART noted that the use of such vehicles on roads could pose a safety threat, especially when they are sold under the wrong name and with inaccurate characteristics.
The agency sent a demand to Ozon to restrict the viewing, ordering, and delivery of these goods in Belarus. Currently, access to such products has already been restricted, and the situation remains under MART's control.
