The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus found a violation of advertising legislation in the activities of the company "Triavist", which operates the 21vek.by online store.

According to the rules of the bonus program, the store has the right to send customers messages about the status of their bonus account and the number of accumulated points via phone or email. Such messages are not considered advertising.
However, during the inspection, it was revealed that one such message, in addition to information about the bonus program, also contained advertising. At the same time, the client had not given consent to receive promotional messages. After the buyer asked the company to stop such mailings, he was refused, and he complained about it to MART.
As a result of the inspection, MART issued an order to the company to eliminate the violation. According to the agency, the organization complied with this requirement within the specified period.
