In Wrocław, Poland, a young man and woman from Ukraine were attacked, resulting in them being hospitalized.

As reported by the mother of the victim, Karyna Kitsay, the conflict erupted on Sunday, July 26, after the attackers heard Ukrainian spoken in a store.
On the street, three young people ran up to the couple and began to beat the Ukrainians with their fists and feet. According to relatives, the girl sustained injuries – a damaged ear, wounds on her neck, and medics had to apply stitches.
A witness to the incident recorded the attack on video, which helped the incident gain significant publicity.
Wrocław police confirmed the incident and stated that law enforcement officers are investigating it as an attack committed on the grounds of national hatred.
