Four Belarusian hockey players played in National Hockey League (NHL) regular season games on the night of December 24.

Washington lost decisively to the New York Rangers on their home ice – 3:7. Washington forward Alexey Protas scored a goal and provided an assist; the Belarusian was named the third star of the game. In 37 regular season games, Alexey Protas has earned 24 (13+11) points.
Boston lost to Montreal at home by a score of 2:6, with Belarusian Uladzislau Kalychonak debuting for the hosts. The Belarusian defenseman spent 10 and a half minutes on the ice and finished the game with a plus-minus rating of '-1'. Last week, Uladzislau Kalychonak moved to Boston from Dallas.
Chicago, with Artsiom Leushunov participating, lost to Philadelphia (1:3); the Belarusian earned his 15th assist of the season. In another game, Calgary, with Yegor Sharangovich, lost to Edmonton (1:5); the Belarusian hockey player did not record any points.
