Near Polotsk, a man went spearfishing four days ago and disappeared
In the Polotsk district, searches continue for the fourth day for a man who disappeared while spearfishing. This was reported by the Water Rescue Society.

A man born in 1978 went spearfishing on Lake Vyadzets on June 11th and has not returned since. Since then, rescuers from the Polotsk OSVOD rescue station have been conducting search operations.

The search is complicated by difficult terrain. Lake Vyadzets is located among forests and swamps, and is about 450 meters from the border with Russia's Pskov Oblast. The shores of the reservoir are low, in places marshy and densely overgrown with forest.
The search operation continues; there is no information yet on the man's whereabouts.
