Trump says Iran's actions in Strait of Hormuz do not comply with agreements

This comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his government's intention to begin direct talks with Lebanon. These talks will focus on disarming "Hezbollah" — an armed group supported by Iran — as well as establishing peaceful relations.
A US State Department representative confirmed that a meeting will take place in Washington next week "to discuss ongoing ceasefire talks between Israel and Lebanon."
Lebanese authorities called for a ceasefire before talks began, but Netanyahu later told residents of northern Israel: "There is no ceasefire in Lebanon."
After Israeli strikes on Lebanon continued on Thursday — they were reportedly aimed at Hezbollah missile launchers in the south of the country — the intensity of attacks seemed to temporarily decrease overnight.
Trump noted in an interview that Israel would reduce the scale of its strikes to support peace talks.
"I spoke with Bibi, and he is going to act more restrained. I think we all need to be a little more restrained," Trump told NBC News after a phone call with Netanyahu.
