Ruslan dreamed of becoming a pilot since childhood, but in his youth, his father, also a pilot, dissuaded him from it.
The man turned to the field of music and corporate events — he played guitar in the band "Tsvet Aloe" for more than 15 years. In the 2000s, it was a very popular group, recognized, among other things, as "Discovery of the Year" at "Song of the Year."
His old desire eventually took over — Ivanou went to study flying at the Belarusian State Aviation Academy. He was an amateur at first, and three years later he obtained a commercial license.

Together with a friend, they organized the "Avia-Minsk" business — offering flights on motor hang gliders, autogyros, and hot air balloons. Their location was the only one in the capital's area where one could spend time in this way.
After transitioning to a pilot career, Ruslan continued to pursue music — including performing at corporate events with his "Tsvet Aloe" colleagues.

A 26-year-old passenger also died along with the pilot. The tragic accident occurred near the village of Aziartso in the Minsk district. According to acquaintances, the cause was that during takeoff, the "Frigate" motor hang glider encountered a strong gust of wind, its wing broke, and the aircraft began to fall.
