In Belarus, from May 1, the amounts of the subsistence minimum budget are increasing . New values will be valid from May 1 to July 31, 2026. On average, the subsistence minimum budget per person will be 509.62 rubles — this is approximately 2.5% more than before.

The following amounts are set for different population groups:
- for the able-bodied — 554.4 rubles;
- for pensioners — 366.59 rubles;
- for children under 3 years old — 314.1 rubles;
- for children from 3 to 6 years old — 422.66 rubles;
- for children from 6 to 18 years old — 497.59 rubles.
This is already the second increase in the subsistence minimum budget in 2026.
