A White-tailed Eagle in a Polish forest approached a nest with an online camera, where a pair of storks is raising four chicks. Eagles are large birds of prey, capable of killing adult black and white storks, as well as their chicks. But the male stork showed incredible courage and lunged at the eagle, writes the Telegram channel "Wild Nature Nearby".

Speed of reaction, surprise, and a sharp beak helped: the bird managed to chase the White-tailed Eagle away from its nest!
The family was lucky that the male was near the nest during the attack. In general, stork remains are often found during the ringing (banding) of young eagles in their nests.
Will the eagle return later? Conservationists believe it's unlikely — negative associations instead of a tasty meal won't establish this spot as a good restaurant in the eagle's memory.
