Ukrainian AI drones autonomously shoot down «Shaheds»: mass production launched
Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov published a video of the work of a new generation of artificial intelligence (AI) based interceptors, which are already being produced and used.

The technology successfully passed combat tests in the Kharkiv region and automates 95% of the entire sky defense process, Fedorov reported.
According to him, the project went from prototype to the front line in less than a year.

Today, the system works as follows:
Automatic launch and targeting — the system independently lifts the drone into the air, guides it along the route, recognizes and targets enemy kamikaze drones. The operator, in real-time, sees the movement of objects, selects the priority target, and gives the final command to destroy.
Such autonomy allows the air defense system to instantly react to massive attacks, effectively protect cities, and secure the sky using its own high technologies, say the developers.
