She is now Alexander Lukashenka's assistant for the Mogilev region.

65-year-old Nadezhda Katkavets has been appointed Lukashenka's assistant — inspector for the Mogilev region. The official is best remembered for her reflections on "chaotically formed prices."
"Nadezhda Nikolaevna, I've known you for a long time. You are an active person. There's probably no one more experienced at the table. Everything will depend on how active you continue to be. As you can see, I didn't let you sit idly somewhere," Lukashenka told her. "You've rested a bit, and now forward."

Katkavets had recently been retired but was engaged in scientific activities.
She began her career in Shklov District, at the "Gorodets" state farm, where Lukashenka also worked. Later, she was an official, rising in 2013 to Deputy Head of Lukashenka's Affairs (she held this position until 2017). After that, Katkavets became chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Paritetbank, and from the end of 2017, she worked at the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation. In recent years (2022-2023), she worked in the regional branches of BNBC.
In addition, Yuri Valyavaty has been appointed assistant — inspector for the Gomel region. Prior to this, he worked as the first deputy chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.
Dmitry Reutsky has become Lukashenka's assistant and inspector for Minsk. Previously, he was Deputy Chairman of the KGB.
Lukashenka also changed heads in the Shklov and Bobruisk districts. Mikhail Kritsky became the new chairman of the Shklov District Executive Committee. He will move here from the position of head of the Bobruisk District Executive Committee, which will now be headed by Alexander Kavranin. He was previously the first deputy chairman — head of the agriculture and food department of the Bobruisk District Executive Committee.
