EU's largest sanctions package in four years includes Belarusian and Russian refineries

The EU is implementing its largest sanctions package against Russia in four years, which includes 218 entries.

Oil refineries in Russia and Belarus will be subject to restrictions, announced the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas.

She also noted that the European Union is already working on further sanctions measures against Russia.

«This is not the end of the road. We are already working on the next steps. The EU must be ready to respond to any further escalation by Russia,» Kallas wrote on social network X.
