President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko. During this conversation, among other things, the issue of the alleged deployment of Russian 'Oreshnik' missile systems on the territory of Belarus was discussed.

"Intelligence has received more detailed information about this, and it is important that partners also know and take this into account in their defensive steps. We believe that the aggressive proliferation of such weapons poses a global threat and creates a dangerous precedent. I have instructed to prepare response options jointly with partners," Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on his Telegram channel.
Previously, on December 18, speaking at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, Alexander Lukashenka stated that the 'Oreshnik' missile system had arrived in Belarus a day earlier and was already being put on combat duty. According to him, the first positions are already equipped with this system. On December 24, Lukashenka listened to a report from Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, which also discussed, among other things, the deployment of 'Oreshnik' on combat duty.
Besides the 'Oreshnik' issue, Zelenskyy and Ivashchenko discussed Russia's attempts to circumvent international sanctions in the energy sector. For this, temporary "owners," fictitious companies, and complex legal schemes are being used. Ukrainian intelligence is tracking such actions and intends to inform partners so that sanctions pressure remains effective and does not allow Russia to gain revenue during the war through machinations.
The issue of the state of Russian military production and its cooperation with foreign companies was also raised. In particular, an intensification of Russia's contacts with certain entities in China, which may be transmitting space intelligence data, has been recorded. It is noted that in some cases, there was a coincidence between images of Ukrainian territory by Chinese satellites and Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. Such activity is viewed in Ukraine as a factor that helps Russia prolong the war and undermines the seriousness of diplomatic efforts. These facts are also planned to be discussed with partners.
