The Minsk Automobile Plant and the enterprise "MAZ-Kupava" have produced a special MAZ 281 vehicle for Minsk National Airport. The machine will transport passengers between the aircraft and the terminal, reports myfin.by.
The vehicle received a 150 hp diesel engine, a six-speed manual gearbox, and complies with the Euro-5 environmental standard. The equipment included ABS, EBD, and ESC systems, cruise control, air conditioning, a rear-view camera, and electric mirror adjustment.
The interior features seven high-comfort seats with reclining backrests. Two more passenger seats are located next to the driver. Also installed are automatic side doors, dual-mode "day-night" lighting, step illumination, non-slip floor covering, and a telescopic coat rack for outerwear.
In total, three such vehicles will be produced for the airport's order. One of them will be equipped with a space for transporting a passenger with disabilities.
