Farewell to Yuri Khashchavatski to take place today

The farewell ceremony for the renowned Belarusian film director Yuri Khashchavatski will take place on July 24 at 2 PM in the ritual hall at Alshevskogo Street, 12 in Minsk.

Yuri Khashchavatski's death became known yesterday. The renowned film director, screenwriter, and socio-political activist was 78 years old.

He is considered one of the most well-known Belarusian authors of documentary cinema.
