In 2026, Belarus took first place among suppliers of rapeseed oil to Israel. This was announced by the Ambassador of Belarus to Israel, Yuri Yaroshevich, before the start of a seminar for heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions and consular institutions, writes BelTA.

According to the diplomat, a significant part of catering establishments in Israel use Belarusian rapeseed oil. Yaroshevich noted that this year Belarus surpassed countries like Estonia and Germany in the supply of this product, becoming the main exporter to the Israeli market.
Yuri Yaroshevich also stated that 2026 was a record year for Belarusian exports to Israel. According to his estimates, the volume of Belarusian goods supplied should amount to 170 to 180 million dollars, which will be the highest figure in the entire history of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He recalled that previous record export volumes slightly exceeded 100 million dollars.
In addition to rapeseed oil, Belarus supplies timber, construction products, and food items to Israel. The Ambassador noted that Belarusian producers are also working on obtaining kosher certificates, as such products are in demand on the Israeli market.
The diplomat expressed the opinion that there are good prospects for further development of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Israel.
