In Georgia, tourist had her nose broken for "Russian language," says her friend VIDEO
The police have a different version: they claim that the girls tried to disrupt a wedding.
It all happened at the Agarani Estate boutique hotel in Kakheti, about two hours from Tbilisi.
According to Polina Kurta, the owner of an eyebrow styling academy who lives in Russia, the conflict began when a man from the neighboring room heard the girls speaking Russian on the balcony. He found out their room number at the reception, came to them, and after a short altercation, hit Yulia, Polina's friend who opened the door, in the face. In the video, the man responds to the words "you are in my room" with the phrase "and you are in my country" and mentions "brothers."
Polina herself was born in Ukraine but later moved to Russia. According to her, she flew to Georgia to meet her friends from both countries.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the conflict began differently: the girls allegedly disrupted a wedding that was taking place at the hotel — they insulted guests and poured water on equipment from the balcony. The attacking man is a relative of the bride, who, in a fit of rage, hit the tourist, breaking her nose.
The injured Yulia was hospitalized, and the assailant was detained.
The rating of the Agarani Estate hotel plummeted to 2.6 stars due to a wave of negative reviews on Google.
