Iranian Regime Could Be Overthrown as Early as Next Tuesday — Expert

Tuesday, March 17, a day that has always led to unrest in Iran.

German-Iranian journalist Michel Abdollahi predicted the possible end of the Iranian regime with day-accuracy in a program, writes Bild.

"According to the Iranian calendar, the last Tuesday before the end of the year [according to the Muslim calendar] — which is next Tuesday — is something like New Year's Day; people jump over fire and celebrate. This is a day that has always led to unrest in Iran.

Fireworks are set off, and young people are in the streets. It's possible that if people go out into the streets on this day to vent their anger, something might happen."

"The end of the fasting month of Ramadan this year falls on a very unique combination — almost the same day as the New Year's celebration [next Wednesday]. But shops are closed, no one wants to buy anything, no one wants to go out. Because many families are mourning the dead; the massacres of January 8 and 9 are still very fresh in memory. They are not celebrating now.

This is what I'm being told: we are just waiting to be told — go out into the streets again, so we can free ourselves from this system. We want to breathe. We want to live," Abdollahi continues.

"It seems as if the Iranian population is being prepared..."

According to the expert, the main signs of an approaching coup in Iran are the first cracks in the system:

"The new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has not appeared for twelve days. State television has been destroyed. Meanwhile, on the streets, Basij militiamen at their checkpoints are being hit by drone strikes. And if money stops coming in, the ordinary Basij militiamen (militiamen, one of the IRGC units) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps simply won't have food."

From Iran, according to Abdollahi, there are reports that some military personnel are no longer reporting for duty and are deserting: "I don't have the feeling that all of this is happening chaotically. Rather, we are in the process of historical change. It seems as if the Iranian population is being prepared for D-Day."
