23-year-old Ruslan from Zhabinka fell in love with a Russian woman and moved to her. Then to the front — and lived for two weeks
Got involved with the wrong people, ended up in a Russian prison and was tempted by an offer to get out.

Ruslan Kruhliej grew up in Zhabinka in a foster family, in a family-type boarding school. Later he studied at the Zhabinka Lyceum; mentions of his participation in Olympiads have survived.
Eventually, the young man fell in love with a Russian woman and moved to Russia. There, according to acquaintances, he was "pulled into something and set up" — as a result, he went to prison. And he signed a contract with the Russian army at the end of July 2025 to get out of the penal colony sooner.

Just two weeks later, Ruslan's foster parents in Belarus were informed that Ruslan had gone missing.
The young man, as can be understood from social networks, was proud of his affiliation with the Russian army; in that short time between leaving the colony and disappearing, he managed to post his pictures in uniform.
