The U.S. Central Command announced that the blockade of all maritime traffic to Iranian ports will begin on April 13 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time (5:00 PM Minsk time).
No exceptions are foreseen — all vessels will be blocked, regardless of country, if they are heading to or departing from Iranian ports, including Iran's ports in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. However, the movement of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz to and from ports of other countries will not be restricted.
All vessels will receive official notification before the blockade begins.
