The persecution in the case of the European Humanities University continues.

Since the beginning of June, a large-scale persecution related to the European Humanities University has been unfolding across Belarus — a criminal case has been initiated for tuition payments, starting from 2016.
While initially people were subjected to searches and interrogations, in recent days, KGB officers have been calling people somehow connected to EHU and inviting them "for a conversation", reports "Viasna".
In mid-April, the European Humanities University, which has been operating for two decades in Vilnius and enrolls over a thousand students from Belarus, was recognized by the Belarusian authorities as an extremist organization. Since the beginning of June, a large-scale persecution related to EHU has been unfolding across the country. At least 60 searches are known to have occurred.
People are even visited at work, and some are called and asked to come "for a conversation".
