A citizen of Belarus died during construction work in Baku, another Belarusian was injured and hospitalized, BelTA reports .

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the accident occurred around 3 PM on June 20 at a construction site of an Azerbaijani company. According to preliminary information, both workers fell from a height. One of them died on the spot, the other was taken to the hospital.
Relatives and a proxy of the deceased contacted the Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan. Belarusian diplomats advised them on the necessary actions in such a situation, helped expedite the processing of required documents, and also appealed to the competent authorities of Azerbaijan with a request to assist in the repatriation of the body to their homeland.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
