A Belarusian man just released from colony killed two elderly women at a dacha
Details of the horrific story in Logoisk district.
On November 18, a 43-year-old man was released after serving his sentence. He went to the village of Zaberazovka, Logoisk district. There, he settled in a bathhouse on the territory of one of the plots.
For a week, the accused secretly lived in the house from which he had previously stolen items, the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
On November 28, the owner of the house came to the dacha with a friend. The man beat the 77-year-old owner of the house and her 70-year-old acquaintance with a stick, after which he turned off their mobile phones.
He convinced the women to pack personal belongings and hand over the keys to the garage and a Toyota car, on which he allegedly was supposed to take them to the hospital. At the same time, he took a shovel and an axe with him.
The accused drove the women to the village of Nivki. There, he pulled them out of the car, inflicted numerous blows with an axe to their heads and limbs. After making sure the women were dead, he buried their bodies.
Then the man returned to Zaberazovka, stole their property, including several bottles of alcohol, chocolates, sweets, a drill-screwdriver, a smart camera, and batteries.
On November 29, he was detained in Logoisk.
"It is noteworthy that the man had previously served a sentence for stealing property from one of the victims at the same dacha plot in the village of Zaberazovka, Logoisk district, which he committed in 2022," the prosecutor's office added.
He is charged with the murder of two elderly women, as well as theft (Part 2 of Article 205, paragraphs 1, 2, 6, 16 of Part 2 of Article 139, Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code). The case has been referred to court.
