Swedish model parodied Haaland's walk and garnered 90 million views
Now everyone wants her parody of the Norwegian football star.
22-year-old Swede Julia Gropp, who has long been accused of having a striking resemblance to Norwegian Manchester City forward Erling Haaland, has conquered the internet with a comical video.
Her parody of the footballer's signature style amassed an astonishing 87 million views in just one week.
The idea to record the video came after the model's followers began to notice her Scandinavian features — light hair, blue eyes, and face shape — which strongly resemble those of the famous athlete.
Upon seeing amusing footage from Haaland's matches, Julia decided to replicate his movements on camera. The result exceeded all expectations: the video brought her over 200,000 new subscribers.
Julia herself jokingly calls Erling her "long-lost twin" and dreams of a personal meeting to create joint content.
At the World Cup, the model is now cheering specifically for neighboring Norway and hopes for their victory.
