The European Shooting Confederation (ESC) announced that the tournament will take place from March 3 to 9, 2027, in Granada.
The organization explained that the championship will serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, as well as for the 2027 European Games. Therefore, all athletes who meet the admission criteria must have the opportunity to participate.
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) allows Belarusian and Russian athletes to compete in international competitions in a neutral status.
