OMON officers taught local security forces to disperse protests in Slonim
In the Slonim district, tactical and special training sessions were held to improve the qualifications of police officers. Employees of the local District Department of Internal Affairs (ROVD) participated in the training, and OMON officers from Grodno were sent to them as instructors.

OMON commander, police Lieutenant Colonel Kirill Goncharov, stated that the main goal of the exercises is "checking the readiness of personnel and practicing joint actions in case of the occurrence, localization, and suppression of mass riots."

Special attention was paid to the maneuverability of tactical groups in personal protective equipment. Under the guidance of instructors, Slonim police officers practiced the use of special equipment, including riot shields.

During the exercises, scenarios were simulated for deploying combat formations to cordon off an area, contain, and separate a simulated group of protesters.
