SixNineForTwanty performs as a DJ in the tech house genre in various cities of Southeast Asia.
According to the girl's Instagram, already in May she was in Guangzhou, and since early June she lives in Hong Kong. She actively travels around the region and maintains communication with the Chinese audience through social networks.
The girl spoke about the conflict in her stories. According to her, after publishing one of the photos, a wave of criticism erupted against her in the Chinese segment of the internet.
«Imagine this: because of this photograph, I have problems on Chinese Instagram. I am being harassed by Chinese users because they believe I am inciting a racial war in their information space. They also complained not only about my posts but also about the photographer who tried to defend me, saying it was just a beautiful shot, without any special subtext,» she wrote.

SixNineForTwanty published screenshots of a conversation with one of the critics.
«Do you condemn me too?» — she asked.
«If you want to stay in China, delete this,» — the interlocutor replied.
To the question of whether he really believed that the photograph was taken specifically to offend Asians, he replied: «I don't care. It's a sensitive topic. Don't gamble with your future».
Later, the interlocutor went even further.
«If you are going to quarrel with all of East Asia, then don't delete this.»
When the blogger asked if her future could really depend on one post in RedNote, under which someone felt discriminated against, she received a short answer:
«Yes».
«If such a photo spreads, you can forget about working in China. Nobody will want to hire you,» — they wrote to her.

SixNineForTwanty herself admitted that she initially believed the reason for the outrage was the caption under the photograph, which mentioned «Chinese girl». However, the interlocutor claimed that the problem was not in the text.
«If you post something like this in an Asian app, you will definitely be criticized. Don't be foolish. Any actions that mock or imitate a narrow eye shape are considered discrimination against Asians,» — they explained to her.
