Belarusbank introduces a commission for accepting cash in Russian rubles
The commission will be 5% of the amount accepted in cash in Russian rubles for transfer to an account.

Starting today, Belarusbank is introducing a fee for accepting cash in Russian rubles at bank branches for crediting to current (settlement) bank accounts, the bank's press service reports.
The innovation will affect settlement bank accounts, as well as settlement bank accounts accessible via a debit bank payment card, for non-resident individuals in Russian rubles (including those opened in other banks).
The commission will be 5% of the amount accepted in cash in Russian rubles for transfer to an account. The commission is charged in Belarusian rubles at the rate set by the National Bank on the day of the transaction.
The fee will be charged: for accounts opened from June 24, — from the account opening date; for previously opened accounts, — from August 1.
