Lukashenka ordered to ban organized trips of children abroad without state permission

"At this time, it's better to stay home," Alexander Lukashenka said the day after a drone strike hit a Belarusian bus on a highway in the Bryansk region. Children from Rechytsa were being taken to Gelendzhik on the Black Sea coast, where active hostilities are ongoing.

Alexander Lukashenka instructed to ban trips of children's groups abroad without state supervision and appropriate permission. He stated this while commenting on the drone attack on a bus with Belarusian citizens, including children, in the Bryansk region, reports BelTA.

"I don't want to judge anyone, but I want to ask our people, especially parents: when it comes to children, at this time it's better to stay home.

You should play football and do other activities here. It's more comfortable here, in a quiet and peaceful country. And all trips without state control and permission must be banned," he stated.

In connection with what happened, Alexander Lukashenka drew attention to several circumstances, mentioning the purpose of the trip of the group of Belarusian children to Gelendzhik.

"I want to draw attention to the fact itself: parents, and they don't deny it, organized this trip either for a holiday or to train children to play football in Gelendzhik.

Listen, do we lack land to play football? Do we lack fields to properly engage in football for both children and adult teams? No, we don't lack them," he noted.

For the trip to the destination, the parents contacted a private company and hired a bus.

"I don't want to condemn this private company either. They acted legally - as individual entrepreneurs. They hired a bus and went," Alexander Lukashenka said. "And now some are making claims. There's no need to make claims against us. As adults, all of us, and primarily parents, should be more careful about such things."
