«Belarusfilm» and ONT are filming the series «Classics on Pension»
A former literature teacher, an accountant with an adventurous streak, and an avid theatergoer finally allow themselves what they had left "for later" for many years.
— The start of filming is always a special moment. This year, this is our first plate, broken on the starting day. The project is truly large-scale: a big casting has been held, decorations have been thought out, and the creative teams of the TV channel and film studio are involved. Therefore, I am confident that together we will cope with the tasks set, — Dmitry Semenov, general director of «Belarusfilm», told the publication «Kultura».
It is on such a foundation that the story is built about three friends who, upon retiring, change the usual course of their lives.

— We want to tell about people who are starting a new stage. And, perhaps, the brightest one, — says director Agata Matsko. — We often postpone important things: reading a book, doing what we've long dreamed of... The series' heroines decide to break this cycle and start acting here and now. Our goal is to give inspiration and good mood to everyone. In this situational comedy with elements of adventure cinema, the characters will face exciting challenges: encounters with scammers, rescuing the director of the Leisure Center — and, of course, love. Late, strong love — it will once again prove: you can't command your heart, even if your passport shows an old date.
Viewers can expect 16 episodes, each lasting about half an hour. This structure provides dynamism and allows the plot to develop through the characters' events and emotions.
Three apartments have been built in the film studio's pavilion — three different worlds of women, united by a staircase landing. It is here that key events unfold — from sharp conflicts to romantic turns. In addition, a significant part of the filming will take place in the urban space of Minsk. All locations have already been identified, which helps to work at a smooth pace.
The project maintains a clear national basis: Belarusian artists and a creative team are participating in it. At the same time, well-known Russian actors — Olga Khokhlova, Alexander Oleshko, Lyubov Rudenko — will also appear in the series, which expands the artistic range.
