In Russia, a Belarusian packaged drugs in cookie boxes and sent them to customers via taxi. The taxi driver didn't believe him and took the cookies to the police

The result for Dzmitry Padlozny is 10 years in a strict regime colony.

Belarusian citizen Dzmitry Padlozny set up a mephedrone distribution network in the Moscow region, packaging the drug in "Choco Pie" chocolate cookie boxes and sending it to customers disguised as gifts via taxi delivery services. This is evidenced by the text of the verdict of the Lyubertsy City Court of the Moscow Region.

One day, Padlozny ordered a delivery via "Yandex" and handed the taxi driver a box wrapped in gift paper with blue hearts. The man asked to take the "package" to the specified address, and when offered to check the contents, he replied that it was a gift for his girlfriend, and left his phone number just in case.

But the sender's behavior seemed suspicious to the taxi driver. After driving away, he carefully opened the package and found inside a box of "Choco Pie" cookies, inside which was a plastic cup with liquid and a small bag with light powder. The driver feared it was a drug, and instead of delivering it, he went to the police station. Expertise confirmed: the bag contained mephedrone weighing 0.98 grams.

The Belarusian did not set up the drug trade alone. He rented an apartment in Lyubertsy, where he and two accomplices brought mephedrone, packaged it into single doses, and packed it into those same "Choco Pie" wrappers.

All three were arrested.

The court found Padlozny guilty of illegal transfer of drugs by a group of persons in a significant amount and of attempted sale of drugs in a large amount. He fully admitted his guilt during the trial. The final verdict is 10 years in a strict regime penal colony.
