The teenager was in a difficult emotional state and already had cuts on his hands, face, and forearms.
Patrol and guard service officers, MES rescuers, a diver, and medics arrived at the scene. For over half an hour, they talked to the teenager, trying to persuade him to abandon the dangerous step. The young man, however, did not allow them to approach him and remained resolute, occasionally removing his hands from the railing.
However, at a certain moment, the boy's attention was diverted by the extinguished lighting. Taking advantage of the situation, police and MES officers quickly grabbed the teenager by his outer clothing and pulled him back onto the bridge. This way, a tragedy was avoided.
