How much will tuition cost in Belarusian universities in the new academic year
Many Belarusian universities have already approved the tuition fees for paid departments for the 2026/2027 academic year.
For the past two years, tuition fees have not increased. Now, according to Myfin data, in some institutions of higher education, they have noticeably increased compared to the level of three years ago.
For example, at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), full-time fee-paying students will have to pay from 4600 to 5250 rubles for tuition in the next academic year, depending on the faculty. For instance, at the Faculty of Information Technology and Control, the tuition fee will be 5250 rubles, which is approximately 20% more than in 2023.
At the Academy of Management, the full-time tuition fee for the main specialties («Public Administration and Law», «Public Administration and Economics», «Information Resource Management») is set at 5900 rubles. This is more than a third higher than the prices of three years ago.
At the Belarusian State Medical University, a year of tuition for the most in-demand specialties — «General Medicine» and «Pediatrics» — will cost 5 thousand rubles, and for future dentists — 5.9 thousand rubles. Compared to 2023, the cost has increased by approximately 13%.
Recall that starting this year, enrollment for full-time paid education in Belarusian medical universities has been canceled. It only remains for part-time study in the specialty «Pharmacy». Therefore, this refers to students who enrolled in universities earlier.
The Belarusian State Technological University has set the cost of paid tuition for most specialties at 5036 rubles. Only at the Faculty of Information Technologies will it be higher — 5164 rubles.
At the Belarusian State Linguistic University, a year of tuition for full-time fee-paying students will cost 4515 rubles. For comparison: in 2023, it was 3948 rubles.
At the Belarusian State Economic University, tuition for all specialties will cost 3896.4 rubles.
